Back in the day, it used to be called typing. Today, you will find the term "keyboarding" used as well due to the use of the computer. Amazingly, in a school supply store here in Yemen, I saw some "dinosaur" typewriters, lol. I hadn't seen one in ages, honestly didn't know they still sold them.
