Your Turn

Choose one of the following activities to complete or as directed by your teacher.

  1. Answer both: If you were a mother/father advising your daughter to be modest, what advice would you give her? If you were a mother/father advising your son to be modest, what advise would you give him? Write a letter to each one.

  1. Pretend that you have been commissioned by a social agency to create public relations material reminding citizens to be modest.  Either design a billboard or a pamphlet to encourage both men and women to be modest.  You might mention the results of not being modest and the benefits of being modest as well. Make it appealing and persuasive!  Remind your fellow citizens that Allah has commanded this of us, men and women.
