  • Learn/review the proper way to make wudhu
  • Learn the Arabic terms for the body parts washed when making wudhu
Arabic Vocabulary:

Possible Activities  

Before I Pray

  • Demonstrate and practice of wudhu regularly
  • Wudhu Sequencing Activity
  • Play games and activities to learn the body parts in Arabic such as "Simon Says"
  • Older children: Write a "How To" paragraph describing how to make wudhu.
  • Younger children: Make a poster to show the body parts washed when making wudhu. Label the parts in Arabic and/or English.
  • Handwriting: Copy the related ayaah above in Arabic/English.  Underline the body parts mentioned.
  • Research and find out the plurals for body parts in Arabic/English.
