Lesson Plan

Goals:	Learn/review the proper way to make wudhu Learn the Arabic terms for the body parts washed when making wudhu
Arabic Vocabulary:	wudhu arm elbow face hands nose head ears feet ankle mouth left right See Wudhu Vocabulary Chart/Flashcards
Possible Activities	Read "Before I Pray," a book about wudhu in TJ's Library Demonstrate and practice of wudhu regularly Wudhu Sequencing Activity Play games and activities to learn the body parts in Arabic such as "Simon Says" Older children: Write a "How To" paragraph describing how to make wudhu. Younger children: Make a poster to show the body parts washed when making wudhu. Label the parts in Arabic and/or English. Handwriting: Copy the related ayaah above in Arabic/English.  Underline the body parts mentioned. Research and find out the plurals for body parts in Arabic/English.
